Hello! I'd like to address the utility...well lack of...for jewelry.
Jewelry in classic is lacking in utility, I'd like to propose a change to utilize those assets!
First, make it so rings & necklaces can be enchanted and make rings wearable.
Ring of Focus: When equipped add's -/+2 combat levels to you in wilderness. Has xx charges, uses 1 charge whenever you attack someone -/+2 above/below your wilderness combat level. Example, you're a lvl 50 in lvl 1 wild (you can attack 49,50,51) if you attack someone with a cb lvl of 47,48,52,53 in lvl 1 wild you'll lose a charge. lvl 1 wild -/+ 2 combat levels from ring = 3 cb levels. After all the charges are used the ring will crumble to dust.
Ring of Gather'er: When equipped increases batch by xx when gathering a resources (such as mining, fishing, woodcutting), also has a chance to reward an extra noted resource that you're gathering from. After receiving xx extra resources the ring will crumble to dust.
Ring of Revenge: When equipped recoils 10% of damage received back to the dealer. *rounded down to the nearest whole number so someone hits a 25 = 2 damage recoiled back, someone hits a 9 = 0 damage recoiled back. After recoiling xx amount of damage back, the ring will crumble into dust.
Ring of Arcane Energy: Can store xx casts of a spell (runes required), while equipped a +3 hidden magic level buff is given & you will not fail the stored spell, after casting xx amount of spells, the ring will crumble to dust.
Necklace of Transmute: Holds x teleports to Varrock dark wizards, Barbarian Village coal rocks, Edgeville monastery, and Falador white knight's castle court yard, crumbles into dust after x teleports have been used.
Necklace of Culinary: While equipped you will not burn the next xx amount of food and will receive a +x hidden cooking level buff, the necklace will crumble into dust after not burning xx amount of food.
Necklace of Smelting: While equipped you will not fail to smelt iron bars, after xx amount of bars have been smelted the necklace will crumble into dust.
Necklace of Life: While equipped you will heal yourself for 20% of damage dealt, rounded up so if you hit a 9 you heal for 2 (This will only work on npcs), the necklace will crumble into dust after healing xx amount._______________________
This update will give relevancy to necklaces & rings, create an item sink for gems & gold bars, increase pking with the new ring of focus, and help out with game play without anything too over powered
Now to addition to my proposal I'm including Phase 2 (P2P) I'd really like to get your input as a community of what we should do with the dragon stone ring & necklace. So please post your feedback for the proposed changes & your input on the dragonstone ring & necklace

as always nice suggestions and well put togheter.
Would actually make the items worth having / making!

Ignore this guy, hes just mad cause hes already getting killed by people lower than his combat. Ring of focus just opens the opportunity for him to be taken out by even lower levels.
+1 to all except ring of focus. And keep all of them out of wild. I don't see how ring of focus would improve pking. The border pking scene that people are currently trying to create wouldn't increase if say 21s is the level and 24s can attack in level 1. Recoil might become useful if and when new hard bosses are introduced but we already get enough 3hits in PvP without adding more no skill required dmg
re at idea, but keep them out of pvp. Unless it auto eats when lower than x% health for x uses. I dont know what else would make a pking ring worth while and not game breaking. All the rest are great.
+1 to the idea of adding a purpose/use to other jewelry.

I love the idea of implementing jewelry, I would even go as far as to say it would be awesome to have an actual enchanting skill that could enhance other skills as well as make a use for all the excess we pawn off on stores or alch etc. However I would like to see as little crossover as what rs2 did as possible. Serpent as usual I agree with your base idea but wish you had more creativity in use and implementation.
This is something we want to do in the future. The only concern with this suggestion is finding the right bonus for each jewelry. Tho this is something that we are really considering since rings and necklace are totally useless right now.
